5% deposit – Pay $2,000 deposit on signing of intent of purchase, balance of 5% upon contract signing. The remaining balance is then payable at settlement. Homebuilder Grant

HomeBuilder provides eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home (HomeBuilder Grant).

A customer’s eligibility to receive the HomeBuilder Grant (the HomeBuilder Grant) is subject to the customer satisfying the eligibility criteria mandated by the Federal and State Governments. More information can be found at https://treasury.gov.au/coronavirus/homebuilder.  Customers should consider seeking independent legal and/or financial advice as to whether applying for a HomeBuilder Grant is appropriate for their specific circumstances.

Porter Davis makes no representations or warranties about the HomeBuilder Grant, including as to whether the customer should apply for, will be entitled to, or will otherwise receive, the HomeBuilder Grant.

Whilst Porter Davis will use best endeavours to assist an eligible customer to enter a building contract between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020, and commence the building works within 3 months of the building contract date (Building Requirements), these Building Requirements may not be achievable due to factors beyond Porter Davis’s control, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Porter Davis will not be liable to customers should they not receive the HomeBuilder Grant for any reason, including as a result of a delay in commencing the works the subject of the building contract.
