Why we love Amsterdam interior design style
Amsterdam style interior design has clean lines with a slight industrial touch, mid tone furniture and floors and architectural white walls as the base palette. Concrete floors or concrete look tiles mixed with a feature wall of exposed brick bring a heritage element to this look. A earthy palette of fabrics create a great backdrop to large oversized abstract pieces of artwork.
How did we create the Amsterdam look
Main colour pallet are greys mixed in with a neutral base and accent colours of aubergine & touches of mustard. Main accent colour is Emerald, whether it’s a painted feature wall or touches of emerald marble in décor, scatter cushions or in artwork the earthy tone of emerald green flows through the house. Matt bronze finishes in furniture pieces and weathered tan leather armchairs with an aged feel and touches of velvet fabrics throughout. Mid Century undertone to furniture style and eclectic furniture mix. Walnut timber furniture and concrete style tiles.Industrial Undertone – tressle tables and mix of matt black metals and black accents. Masculine feel. Dark feature walls and wallpaper and heavy drapery. Classic base wallpaper designs in a contemporary application.
