Let the kids rule the rumpus room

I always remember the rumpus room being the place where parents send kids to get them as far from them as possible. And nothing much has changed in 20 years. The bigger your family gets, the more you want to keep the chaos contained, leaving you the freedom to entertain guests without worrying about one of them doing a sixer on Thomas the Tank Engine. Sound familiar?

We’ve seen our customers use this room for a variety of purposes – from a play area, to a study nook, a theatre room or a sitting area that converts easily into a spare bedroom with a futon couch – the ways you can use the extra space are endless.

But far and above, the main uses of the rumpus room that I have seen are:

1. Pile up the toys
2. Hide away the office clutter
3. Let the kids go nuts

Happy kids make happy parents!
