An exciting new addition to the Porter Davis gallery, our recently constructed Hoffman 39 offers an iconic blend of life and style, meshing subtle Hamptons sophistication with transitional cool coastal vibes. On display at Harpley, the Hoffman 39 nails ultra-modern functionality with a groovy beach club twist, this ever-popular floorplan offering attainable opulence to the modern family.
Set over two levels the ground floor is undeniably the hub of the home, a sense of togetherness created by a contemporary open-plan design. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and large benchtop windows allow for an abundance of light and create an airy interior. Colour is injected into the typical Hamptons palette of soft whites and greys, with varying blue and yellow accents intertwined into decor; a defining feature of our signature Beach Club style.
“It’s an ideal choice for anyone with evolving style, as it’s an easy theme to work with and weave in on-trend colours,” says Porter Davis Interior Designer, Koraly Fasone.
“The Hamptons Beach Club theme is versatile and exudes tranquility, just like a luxe summer escape, while interspersed pops of colour add a fresh feel-good factor.”
Not only do the grand window choices create a light-filled interior, but they allow for a seamless connection to the alfresco space for more resort style grandeur. Unique shiplap panelling on the kitchen cabinetry oozes casual coastal vibes, juxtapositioned by on-trend horizontal tiles in the splashback.
Senior Porter Davis Designer, Randall Pye, says these contemporary features are what distinguishes this home from the traditional Hamptons look.
“This style allows texture and materials to reign supreme. In this instance we’ve taken wall panelling one step further and applied it to the cabinetry for a modern twist.”
A galley, walk-in pantry, additional linen cupboard and spacious laundry demonstrate why this is the floorplan of choice for storage seekers. Carefully crafted, the Hoffman 39 is a more than a double-storey sensory experience, it’s a statement of practicality.
Upstairs the grand master suite is undoubtedly the star of the show, adding another layer of prestigiousness to this Lifestyle home. An expansive robe sits behind the sleeping zone, offering a walk through experience for the avid clothes collector. A private ensuite successfully wrestles with both classic and contemporary vibes, adorned with marbled floor-to-ceiling tiles and shiplapped panelling on the cabinetry – a feature that is successfully carried through every area of the home.
“The Beach Club take on the Hamptons still has the timeless and elegant aspects of the Classic look we all know and love, but with a more relaxed feel,” says Randall.
“The Australian version is more coastal than your classic American home, and rightly so when you consider our natural landscape.”
“Just think of it as a luxurious beach house, with homage to classic elegance.”
In addition to the master, the first floor of the Hoffman 39 holds another three bedrooms – the Beach Club theme fully encapsulated in exotic and vibrant wallpaper.
For larger families, refuge can be found in the upstairs living space, perfect for a second use as a gaming zone.
“The most opulent of designs are all about providing sufficient space,” says Koraly.
“To successfully complement coastal themed decor, the floorplan needs to flow and let the light and breeze in.”
A sure fire new favourite for display go-ers, this Hoffman 39 successfully caters to modern living, blending the exclusivity of a private club with transitional cool coastal style.
