Everything you’ve ever wanted.
Considered and thoughtful, the Astor L gives you everything you love about the popular Astor home design, but it is cleverly designed for a 14m wide block, a prevalent size in land in Greenfields around Melbourne. Although slightly narrowed, the floorplan of this home ticks all the boxes you would expect from a luxury home of this size. We are proud to showcase this design at our new display centre in Mt Atkinson, Truganina.
The Façade – The New England with a twist
The popular New England façade is back, but this time with a balcony; an option our clients have been asking for! We have elevated this classic styled façade with a dark charcoal colour pallet, highlighted with white features to create a contemporary twist.
The Formal Lounge – Warm and inviting
The contemporary style mantel fireplace creates a warm and relaxed feel to the formal lounge, a welcomed change to the traditional. Relaxed loose linen sofas over large floor rugs add additional warmth, with a mix of contemporary and nautical décor and artwork fill the space. White and soft grey colour palette with contrasting blues, indigos and charcoals create further depth.
The Kitchen – Light filled luxury
It’s the most loved area of any home- the kitchen, and in the Astor 43L it’s no different. Staying true to the contemporary Cape Cod style, white panelled cabinetry is prominent, this is paired with brass tapwear and designer handles. Thick light coloured marble-look stone benches add an understated luxury.
The large picture window splashback is the ultimate feature, and it allows for plenty of natural light to fill the space. Warm grey timber laminate flooring gives depth to this neutral colour pallet, and very practical for cleaning up.
The Family & Void– The Wow factor
The must have high-end feature loved by many, the spectacular double storey void. The clever Astor 43L design still manages to give you this desired effect, all without having to build over the top of the garage. This large void gives the family room loads of natural sunlight to stream through the windows. Two large beaded chandeliers add even more wow factor to this space.
The Cape Cod style really shines here with nautical artwork over the two levels extenuating the ceiling height. Natural and weathered timber furniture with black features layered with textured and patterned feature cushions give the family space a lived in feel. We’ve even managed to tuck in a large theatre room at the rear of the home, making use of all the space.
The Bedroom– Spacious but cosy
The oversized master bedroom sits upstairs to the front of the home. The master bedroom features two walk in robes, so no need to share with your partner! The room takes inspiration from the nautical Cape Cod style with white panelled feature walls paired with weathered timber bedside tables. Cosy mid-grey wool carpet, navy blue accents and crisp whine linen create a calming feel you need in a bedroom.
Three more secondary bedrooms fit upstairs with ease, one even with its own walk in robe. They all surround the communal rumpus area, a perfect area for the kids.
The Bathroom – Time to unwind and relax
Creating a spa retreat at home is easy with the master ensuite, it boasts an impressive sized double vanity with plenty of storage underneath. Chrome feature pendent lights and white panelled cabinetry. Double shower with large niche is super practical for keeping this area neat and tidy. Organic shaped freestanding bath is the height of luxury ideal for unwinding and relaxing after a busy day.
