Garage back to front but still the right way round

August 17, 2011 4min read

If you drive past a Porter Davis home and you can’t see a garage, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have one – it just means it might be back to front – but it’s still the right way round.

We have recently expanded our Access range to include three new rear-loaded designs which are a unique, affordable and innovative design option, specifically designed to suit those looking to build on a corner or rear-lane access block.

The option to put the garage at the rear of the home enhances narrow blocks, especially the more popular 10m wide lots, while still offering the same spacious, open plan living style of other Porter Davis designs.

Rear-loaded homes are proving really popular with first home buyers and also downsizers, who really enjoy the centrally located kitchen area, three generous bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage at such an affordable price.

The designs also offer the opportunity to generate a distinctive street appeal, plus for those who love gardening, these homes provide a larger garden at the front of your home so you can show off your green thumb skills.

Rear-loaded design house and land packages are now available at Plenty River in Doreen and Selandra Rise in Cranbourne North from just $342,402.
